Course Description:

In the Province of Ontario, a large percentage of lost-time injuries is attributable to strains, sprains and overexertion. As well, the Canada Labour Code Part II refers to a future prescribed ergonomics standard for federally regulated workplaces. Many companies in the transportation sector experience lost-time injuries resulting from overexertion, strains and sprains which hinders safe productivity and leads to increased costs.
